Germantown Youth Futures

Youth Futures is for middle and high school students living in the Germantown School District. Youth plan and participate in alternative activities and volunteer in the community. Alternative Activities include things like the Annual Lock-In, Horicon Marsh Canoe Trip, Kalahari Indoor Water Park (WI Dells), and Cool Waters Trip.

Mission: Enhance youth development through community awareness, education, and involvement.

Board of Directors include representation from Germantown School District, Germantown Police Department, Village of Germantown, Germantown Park and Recreation Department, Community Members, Community Memorial Hospital, UW-Extension Office - Washington County, Lifetime Disc Sports, and The Council on AODA.

Boards of Directors meet the third Thursday of each month from 7:30-8:30 am at the High School in room 108A.

Youth Activities Committee meets once a month from June through December and twice a month from January through May. The meetings are on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm at the High School in room 108A. Call 250-4710 for exact dates.

Asset Builder Awards are given out by Youth Futures to businesses and people who support the assets and help youth develop these assets. Recipients of the Award:

  • Robert's Frozen Custard (Business Asset Builder)
  • Community Memorial Hospital (Community Asset Builder)
  • Matt Vogt (Youth Asset Builder)
